European Vintage Ploughing Match 2011
The European Vintage Ploughing Match will be held in Northern Ireland in 2011.
This will be the second occasion that it has been held in this country.
The event will be held at St James Road Hillsborough on lands kindly provided by Mr Raymond McKee.
The European Vintage Ploughing Association (EVPA) draws its membership from the National Vintage Clubs etc from a number of countries throughout Europe. The individual National Vintage bodies are affiliated to the (EVPA) and an
Annual Match is held in a different country each year.
The Annual Competition consists of three Classes;
Trailing Class
Hydraulic Lift Class
Reversible Class
And each Country can send a representative to compete in each Class.
As well as the Competition Ploughing taking place it is hoped to have other activities and demonstrations of interest.
