The Northern Ireland Vintage Ploughing Association covers all aspects of vintage tractor and vintage horse ploughing across Northern Ireland

We organise Vintage Ploughing matches and National championships each year where local and international Tractor and Horse ploughers compete in various classes their vintage, antique and old ploughs. The Northern Ireland Vintage Ploughing Association brings together all local ploughing societies with an interest in organising Vintage Ploughing Matches.

Northern Ireland International Ploughing Championships 2026

The 2026 Northern Ireland International Ploughing championship will be held on the 25 & 26 September 2026 at 20 Ballyknock Road, Royal Hillsborough, BT26 6EF. More details to follow soon.

Northern Ireland Vintage Ploughing Championship 2025

Come join us on the 26th & 27th September as we host the Northern Ireland Vintage Ploughing Championships, which will run alongside the Northern Ireland Ploughing Championships & the 5 Nations Ploughing Championships at Stramore Road, Gilford. Admission is £10 for adult, with free entry for primary school children.
